Indie development studio Landfall has released its Battle Royale shooter game Totally Accurate Battlegrounds on Steam. The game pays homage to the popular game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
According to a recent announcement, the development team worked on the game as April Fools joke because its members spent "an enormous amount of lunch breaks and nights" playing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
The game is completely free of charge for those who activate or install it in the first 100 hours after its release. The game will retail for $4.99 afterwards, starting on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
Those who do purchase the game shouldn't expect significant updates, however, because the studio has already stated it plans to focus on other endeavors.
