Bethesda has announced that the first-person shooter game Brink is now a free-to-play title. The game's downloadable content packs will remain available for purchase.
The shooter game was released on May 10, 2010, and was widely popular when it first released. However, in the past six years the studio has seen the game's popularity and players activity decrease.
The game sold over 2.5 million units worldwide before the studio turned it into a free-to-play title.
The game's downloadable content packs will remain available for purchase and will not be released as free content.
