Development studio Boss Key Productions has shelved the development of its shooter game LawBreakers. The game released in August 2017.
LawBreakers was a first person shooter game in which players can break the laws of physics, creating unprecedented gravity-based combat in an ever-evolving arena map.
The game featured several different game types, including OverCharge in which players fight over the embattled battery to score points, and several different character classes to choose from, each with their own set of unique abilities.
Despite the studio's efforts, the game never became as popular as its main competitor Overwatch. This was largely due to the studio's less than average marketing campaigns.
The studio will now put its focus on a new game which has yet to be announced.
