Capcom has announced the game Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo 3DS today. The game is the updated version of Monster Hunter Generations.
The game was announced during a Nintendo DIrect broadcast earlier today. Monster Hunter XX continues the Monster Hunter franchise tradition of releasing a "G" or "Ultimate" version of the last game before a full sequel is released.
The game will feature a G-rank difficulty level, a new Airship-based hup village, several returning monsters, including Barroth and Barioth, new Deviant monsters, including Deviant Diablos, and at least one new monster.
Monster Hunter XX will also feature two new Hunter Styles, one that rewards players for playing agressively, and another that is yet to be revealed.
Players of Monster Hunter Generations will be able to import their save data to the new game, and those who play Monster Hunter Stories will also see some benefit.
Monster Hunter XX launches on March 18th 2017 in Japan exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
