The Dust 2 map revamp for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive that was teased by Valve yesterday is now available on the game's beta branch. New screenshots show the major visual changes featured in the new version.
Almost every section of the new Dust 2 map has received visual overhauls that make it a lot more appealing to see. The general layout of the map has stayed the same althrough certain sections are slightly narrower than the previous version.
The iconic map has been part of the competitive Counter-Strike scene for over 16 years since it first released in March 2001 as a free addition to Counter-Strike 1.1.
It is still unclear when the map will be added to the Active Duty Group again but the new map is already available via the game's beta test branch starting today.
