Indie development studio Darkflow Software has released its Battle Royale shooter game Cuisine Royale on Steam. The game is currently in Early Access.
According to a recent announement, Cuisine Royale is an all-kitchen-warfare Battle Royale game. The game was originally made as an April Fool's joke but has now made its way to Steam as a separate title because it was appreciated by its players.
Aside from weapons you can find in your own kitchen, the game also features a variety of traditional machine guns and melee weapons.
In addition, the game features "the most honest" lootboxes scattered around the map. These lootboxes are completely free to open and listed content has a 100% chance droprate.
Unlike other popular Battle Royale games, up to 30 players will play against each other per session, each starting from different parts of the map and making their way to the center of a battlefield that is constantly shrinking in size.
Cuisine Royale will be free for a limited time only until June 25, 2018, after which a paid version will be released to cover further development and server costs. Those who activate the game before that date will get to keep it.
