Ubisoft has released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming shooter game Far Cry 5. The game was announced last month.
Far Cry 5 takes players to Hope County, Montana, land of the free and the brave, but also home to a fanatical doomsday cult known as Eden's Gate.
According to a recent press release, players will have to "stand up to the cult’s leader, Joseph Seed, and his siblings, the Heralds" and "spark the fires of resistance" that will liberate the besieged community.
The game boasts a new dynamic AI that tracks the effect you’re having in the game, and alters the enemy's strategy against you. This means that the cult will boost their efforts when you become less of a nuisance and more of a threat.
Weapons that are confirmed to be included in the game thus far are the Baseball Bat, Dynamite, AR-C, M1911 Pistol, Sledgehammer and D2 Shotgun, and the confirmed vehicles thus far are the Coupe, Tractor, the Cult Pickup and several small airplanes and helicopters.
For the PlayStation 4 version of the game Ubisoft and Sony have engaged in a strategic partnership that aims to bring PlayStation 4 gamers more exclusive downloadable content.
Far Cry 5 launches on February 27th 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
