Rockstar Games has announced that it has launched a new update for Grand Theft Auto Online called Deadline. The update features a new game mode and a new motorbike.
The Deadline update for the game features a new Adversary Mode called Deadline in which players are able to demolish foes with the power of the light trail of the newly introduced futuristic motorbike Nagasaki Shotaro.
Deadline puts up to four players against another, each mounted on a different colored Shotaro, which emits a temporary light trail as players ride through the arena. Any competitor unfortunate enough to come in contact with said trail meets an instant explosion.
To win the game mode players will have to make use of calculated movements to force opponents to cross your trail's path and take advantage of strategic power-ups for a competitive edge.
The power-ups featured in the mode include Boost, which allows players to speed ahead and cut off your opponents; Zoned, which allows players to slow down time for precision movement and Hop, which allows players to leap over their opponent’s light trail.
Players will be able to experience the new Shotaro motorbike first in the new Deadline Adversary Mode, which will unlock the bike for purchase at Legendary Motorsport. Also available is the new Deadline Outfit which will be also be unlocked for purchase at any clothing store after playing the Deadline Adversary Mode.
In addition to the new game mode, motorbike and outfit, new Shotaro owners will get a free Nagasaki Logo Tee outfit added to their wardrobe. The outfit will be unlockable for a limited time only.
