Platinum Games has announced its new Nintendo Switch action game Astral Chain. The game releases in August.

As part of a police special forces unit in a multi-cultural futuristic city, players work together with a humanoid special weapon, Legion, in a synergetic action system of battle and exploration.

The game is currently in development at Platinum Games, the same studio that worked on the Bayonetta series.

Astral Chains releases on August 30, 2019, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
